Why is lifting youth voice important?  Even though I am in college there are many who still believe that my opinion does not holds merit due to my age. It’s only worse for our youth who are discredited for just being young. Their ideas hold just as much if not more importance to our future. The younger you are, the more restricted you are to what you can do and that includes where you can voice your opinions. Our youth need to be treated as equals if we all want to grow together. Nothing can be accomplished if we are not taking each other seriously.
