Why is lifting youth voice important? As a strong supporter in uplifting youth voices, I believe that encouraging youth engagement is vital to communities because young people can bring different perspectives and ideas to the table. It’s important that the next generation feel heard and valued as the decisions made today affect their future. I hope that the Summit will continue to inspire students around California to speak up and step out in their communities.
