Tamira Daniely serves as the Health Associate for Children Now. In this role, she executes funding strategies, supports communications efforts, and develops research on children’s health issues for the organization.
Prior to Children Now, she worked at Black Mamas Matter Alliance where she developed policy, research, and advocacy strategies to build awareness of and address issues surrounding Black maternal health on the local, state, and federal levels in Georgia. With a dual Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy (B.A.) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Global Health (B.A.) at Duke University, she brings expertise in public health research, health policy, and social justice to Children Now.
Outside of work, Tamira has a love for nature, food, and is always looking for something to learn. From writing poetry to dance classes to sewing and music production, she has an affinity for creative expression.
